It's time to party yet again and if you
love Bratz, then this themed party is exactly what you have been
looking for! Below you will find all the tips and information
necessary to organize the supreme Bratz event so be sure to have your
notebook and something to write with at the ready. But before we
begin, just a little bit of information on the four main Bratz girls:
Jade, Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha.
She's the easy rider, the carefree soul
drifting with the winds. And just to ensure that there is never a
dull moment, Jade is also the one with the spunk in her step that
keeps things lively and on the go. She enjoys spending time with her
family as much as she does with her friends and like to know what's
happening in the lives of the people she cares about. But just in
case you thought that's all she does, think again! With a sketchpad
under the arm, Jade will often throw together a couple of designs for
her three friends to model.
Strong minded and opinionated, Yasmin
is a girl of both the heart and the head. When she's not helping
someone out of a spot of emotional Bother, Yasmin can be found with
her nose in a book about her favorite celebrities or even blogging on
the Internet and searching for news from around the globe. As said
before, she's a girl with a lot of oomph!, which means that she's not
afraid to voice her concerns on a certain topic and getting things
done to fix it!
In Cloe you will find the superstar of
the group who's not only into singing and acting, but sports as well.
Her role models are the women who've done it all across various
fields and reached their achievements despite all odds. Indeed, Cloe
is a girl ready for great things in life but always has time for her
friends when they need someone to cheer them up the most. Comfortable
in jeans and a t-shirt but not against throwing together a crazy cool
outfit, Cloe is the perfect example of the laid back achiever.
With a warm, winning smile and an
insane love for music, Sasha is the future rock star of the group.
Her fashion sense is something to be desired as it is on par with
Jade's but has the individualistic edge that fits in perfectly with
the rest of her life. And if you thought she's only into clothes and
music, then you will be mistaken as this girl has a keen interest in
politics and sees herself become a senator or even a rock 'n' roll
president!
Below you will find some useful ideas for Bratz Party invitations. Should you require any of the materials or items necessary, just ask your parents to help by purchasing them from a retail store in your area or from the Internet. And remember, including the following information in your invitation will ensure that your guests will have all the information they need.
Party Name: Be sure to give your party a super cool name that ties in with the theme. Think along the lines of “Emma's Bratz Fashion Party!”

Additional information…
The Bratz design is the easiest and the cheapest invitation and it's efficacy is only dependent on the time, skill and effort you put into it.
For this invitation you will need a computer loaded with the appropriate software as well as a printer. In addition, you will also need a template with which you will be able to manipulate the layout of your invitation (otherwise it could become quite tricky).
To start off, you will need to decide on an image for the front of your invitation. Remember that the theme of the party is 'Bratz', so you should preferably try and do something to keep in line with the theme – perhaps an image of each of the four Bratz or a manipulated image with the face of one of the Bratz replaced with the face of the person that will be receiving the invitation.
Once you have decided on the appropriate image, be sure to include the name of your party on the front cover along with your design.
When you're finally finished and happy with your work, simply add the
details of your party to the inside or the flip side of the
invitation along with some decorations and get ready to deliver them!
Do the Bratz love fashion? Of course they do! For this invitation you will be making a fashion show invitation for your fellow Bratz.
Now, in principle the invitation will follow the same guidelines as the Bratz Design invitation, but will take on a different design and some additional information.
Using the template as described in the Bratz Design, think of an appropriate design for the cover of your invitation. As it is a fashion show, it will need to be something that reflects the theme of the fashion show. For those doing a Rock fashion show, you will need to use the appropriate font and images to reflect the theme. If you are thinking of something a bit more classy, then you will need to use a classy font and the appropriate designs (remember, you don't always need to use images as a simple design or shape will do as well).
Once you have the front of the invitation done, it's time to add the details of your party to the inside or the flip side of the invitation. Now along with the details as mentioned above, you will need to make your friends aware that they might have to dress in a manner appropriate to double as models and members of the audience. As such they should either wear some of their own Bratz creations or, if you have some skill as a designer as well as a sowing machine, then some of yours.
And when finally done, all that's left to do is get them printed,
deliver them and get going on the rest of you party organizations!
As not everyone is equally gifted when it comes to art or tailoring, the Bratz gift offers the singular chance to give your guests an invitation that they can also use!
For this invitation you will need to ask your parents to take you to
your nearest Bratz merchandise retailer or to help you find the
appropriate gifts on the Internet. Ideas for invitation gifts
include:
Bratz makeup
Bratz dolls
Bratz accessories
Bratz clothes
Bratz stationary
Once decided on the invitation gifts you would like to give, all you will need to do is to make some invitations as described under the Bratz design invitation. If you find it too difficult to complete, just ask your parents to help you buy suitable invitation cards.
When you have everything, all you will need to do is to add the details of your invitations to the card and attach the card to the gift.
It's a Bratz party, so that will
obviously mean something stylish! If you are having a fashion show as
one of your events, be sure to mention it on your invitation and how
you would like your guests to dress (this is done under the 'Dress
Code' section of the invitation).
As for Bratz party decorations, the sky
is the limited as it is mostly about fashion! However you can add
some decorations of your own to ensure that the Bratz theme shines
through. These include the following:
Bratz Posters
Bratz Dolls (as centerpieces)
Bratz Tablecloth
Bratz Plates & Cups
Balloons
Streamers
As mentioned before, you could have a
Bratz fashion show with all the guests as your models. Just to be on
the safe side, you will have to wait until they have all arrived
before it can start. As your friends near the end of the catwalk one
by one, your mom or dad should announce the guest and welcome them to
the party.
Party favors are of course those items
that will ensure that your party remains in your guests' memories for
some time to come. As such it will take a little thinking to think of
something that you know they will love to have. Here are a couple of
ideas for party favors. These can be bought in an appropriate Bratz
retail store in your area or even on the Internet.
Bratz back pack
Bratz makeup case
Bratz handbag
Bratz body lotion
Bratz lip balm
Bratz lip gloss
Bratz purse
What better way to spend some time with your friends that by having your very own Bratz fashion show? As described before, this could easily fit in with your invitations and could also be used for your guest arrival and announcement.
Now for any fashion show there is one thing that you will definitely need – a catwalk. Use a long red carpet as the runway for the catwalk or even a little stage if you can have one erected.
And finally, on the big night, be sure to have some cool music playing to which your friends can model their or your outfits.
To add a bit of a competitive edge to the event, why not ask your
parents to buy a special prize for the contestant with the best
looking dress?
Having a fashion show is one thing, but what to do afterwards? Well, one idea is to have a Bratz movie marathon. Ask your parents to take your to your local DVD outlet before your party starts and get your hands on a couple of Bratz films. If you don't have a movie outlet near you, then just have a look on the Internet.
When the big night arrives, be sure to have the popcorn, chips and
soft drinks ready for an activity that is bound to set the Bratz mood
for the rest of the evening.
Something that foes hand-in-hand with fashion is of course makeup. And that being said, it will be a super idea to have your own Bratz makeup contest as an activity for your party.
Now of course you will need to inform your friends that they will need to bring their own makeup sets. This can be done under the 'Information' heading on the invitation.
When it's time for the activity to start, divide your friends into two groups. As soon as they have been split into two groups, instruct the one group to apply makeup to the members of the other group. This can be according to the Bratz theme or just about anything you think will fit in with your party.
When the one group is done applying makeup to the other group, then it's time for them to switch around.
The final winner of the event is the group who applied their makeup with the least mistakes.
Just as an additional tip: On your invitation you will have to
specify the basic makeup items that should be brought along like
lipstick, mascara etc., to ensure that everyone has an equal chance.
Also take care to note whether you have an equal or an odd number of
guests coming. If it's an odd number there will obviously be one
person left over when the two teams are divided. As such, it might be
worth while to either be the judge for the activity or to ask your
mom to take part to ensure that both teams have an equal amount of
participants.
As you know the Bratz love to help out in their neighborhoods and in their communities, especially Yasmin and Sasha.
For this party activity you and your friends will help spread awareness about an important topic. This can either be something like global warming, endangered animals or even just the importance of a clean neighborhood.
To start off, a project leader should be chosen. This is usually the person with the best organizational skills and with an aptitude for getting things done. Once this person is chosen, you will have to decide on a topic and how you will be able to spread awareness about this particular problem. Ideas here include making posters, preparing a play which can then be recorded and be posted on the Internet or by designing leaflets. If you have a different idea, be sure to add it to the list.
When the idea has been decided on, it's time to get into action and start designing. The person who has been chosen as the project leader will have to ensure that there is a start and a finish to the project and how to best get there using all available helpers and resources.
Now, when your project is finally complete, ask your parents to rate your work. If they think it's good enough, then it's time to get your project out there and make yourselves heard in true Bratz style (though be sure to ask your parents for permission and guidance)!
Hmm, what would the Bratz eat at a party? Do you know? As they are very fit and love to model, they will probably need to watch what they eat to keep their figures in shape. But then again, you and your friends are still young and can therefore indulge, even if it is only once in a while.
Why not add a bit of flair to your party by having some finger snacks available when your guests arrive and soft drinks in champagne flutes? This will add a bit of glamor and ensure that everyone knows they are now at a Bratz party. When everyone has arrived and it is finally time for the main meal, think of something everyone will enjoy.
Here are a couple of ideas for snacks,
meals and desserts:
Crackers (with yummy toppings)
Celery sticks (model food)
Chips & Dip
Popcorn
Peanuts
Chicken wings
Tortillas
Burgers
Pizza
And as for drinks, well, why not just have anything you want? Think of milkshakes or even a scoop of ice cream in your favorite soda!
