Feel like having a Superheroes party? Well then this one is for you! Below you will find all the information you need for you and your superhero friends to have one of the best times of your lives. So get your pen and paper and get ready to make some notes. But first, a little more about some of the most popular Superheroes around...
Created by writer-editor Stan Lee, Don
Heck, Jack Kirby (both artists) and Larry Lieber, Iron Man tells the
story of Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark who suffers a heart
injury during a kidnapping. The only thing to able to save his life
is a power suit, which then also gives him superhero powers. Like
many other superheroes, he is also a genius.
Another creation of Stan Lee and Jack
Kirby's, The Incredible Hulk, or sometimes just The Hulk, was first
published in May 1962. It tells the story of Dr. Bruce Banner and how
he became The Hulk after he was exposed to the radiation of a gamma
bomb. The change between the two, however, is not always voluntary
and always leads to problems for both of them.
We all know him from X-Men, but he first appeared in the Incredible Hulk series and was created by Len Wein and John Romita Sr. It was only later that Wolverine joined the X-Men crew.
As you may know, Wolverine's original name is James Howlett, though he is more commonly known as Logan and possesses animal senses and extreme physical capabilities (including some awesome retractable bone claws). Additionally, Wolverine has the ability to heal rapidly from just about any wound.
Naturally there are many, many more Superheroes out there worth mentioning, but if we did that, it would take a couple of pages and we'd be neglecting our duty as the supplier of party tips and information. So get your pen and paper because it is time to start organizing!
Below you will find some useful ideas
for Superheroes Party invitations. Should you require any of the
materials or items necessary, just ask your parents to help by
purchasing them from a retail store in your area or from the
internet. And remember, including the following information in your
invitation will ensure that your guests will have all the information
they need.
Party Name: A Superheroes party needs an extremely Super name! Think of something like “Leon's All-Superhero Rumble”.
Salutation:
Date & Time

Additional information…
For your superheroes poster you will need a computer and the appropriate software. In addition you will have to decide on the size of the print you want. For those who want normal invitation size posters, then a normal printer would do fine. If you want the standard movie-sized poster, then you might have to get in touch with a printing company as they will have the paper and the equipment to do the job for you.
Now, for the successful movie poster you will have to make a collage of superheroes and images from their films. These images can be obtained from the internet though you will have to make sure that you have the appropriate permissions. Remember to blend the name of your party with the images you have to make it look as authentic as possible. The details of your party will then come right at the bottom where the credits usually are.
Once you are satisfied with your
poster, have a test copy printed and see if you like it. If all is
well with your proofs, get the rest printed and get ready to deliver
them.
Every little boy (and some little girls) wants to be a superhero. Well, why not design your own superhero emblem? This can be a mixture between the various different types of superhero logos out there or one of your own creation. Naturally you'll need a computer loaded with the appropriate software as well as a printer. For those who don't have printers at home, why not ask a friend or just pop down to your local printing firm and make use of their services.
For some added effect, why not have your logo embossed (this means it is raised slightly above the normal level of the paper).
Now just an additional tip: to ensure
that your invitation comes out the way you want it and to leave some
room for the details, use a template which will help you position the
final emblem and your party name on the front page and the details of
your party on the back or inside.
"Calling all Superheroes!" Use the latter as the title of your party. In addition, your invitation will be a little bit different than the normal ones in the sense that it should be a bit smaller. Think in terms of the size of a business card or something similar.
For this invitation you will be best served with a computer loaded with the appropriate software as well as a printer capable of printing on blank business/calling cards. To make things easier, use a template for the design process.
The process is very simplistic in the sense that it will have a simple design in the front (perhaps with the logos of the various superheroes) along with the words "Calling all Superheroes". On the back you will have to list all the appropriate details of your invitation.
Once done, get ready to have them printed and delivered.
“Superheroes!” - That's what you
will need to state on your invitations under “Dress Code” (but
without the quotes). If you want your friends to dress as any
specific type of superhero, be sure to include that in the
instructions. Otherwise., if they are allowed to come as any type of
superhero, be sure that they are aware of that as well.
Need some decorations for your
Superheroes party? Here are a couple of ideas for you to use as you
wish. If you need any of the items or materials mentioned, be sure to
ask your parents to help you buy them from the appropriate local
retailer or from the internet.
Superhero Emblem – Every superhero has an emblem, so be sure to make some before hand and decorate your walls with them. Be sure to include all your friends' superhero emblems so that they will feel represented at your party.
Superhero Posters – Along with the emblems, be sure to have a couple of superhero posters mounted against the walls to set the correct atmosphere.
Streamers and Balloons – Even superheroes love them.
Superhero Tablecloths –
Superman's cape, Batman's cape or even a Fantastic Four tablecloth
will be sure to set the right mood when it's time to eat.
What kind of announcement do you think
fitting for your superheroes? While some of them live publicly,
others prefer to remain shrouded behind the veils of anonymity. As
such, do a little research on the superheroes your friends will be
arriving as. Have one of your parents announce those who wish to be
announced and be sure to have a secret entrance away from the public
eye ready for those who would rather just appear.
Make your party memorable by supplying
your guests with gifts you either made yourself or bought from the
appropriate supply store in your area or from the internet. Here are
a couple of ideas for party favors:
Key Chains
Badges
Superhero baseball caps (embroidered with your party name and date)
Posters
Frisbees
T-shirts
Mugs
Party activities are often the most
memorable part of any party as it supplies everyone with the
opportunity to be the superhero they want to be. Below you will find
a couple of ideas that you and your friends can enjoy.
What if Superheroes could age, just like normal people? While some of them can, others will probably live forever. For the purpose of this game, we will assume all of them can age.
As such, why not gather your friends in a large room and one by one
act out any an old age superhero in the room, other than the one they
came as. This game needn't follow the usual charades rules as normal
acting and gesturing is allowed. The only thing you are not allowed
to do is point out or indicate the superhero that you are trying to
impersonate.
Do superheroes need target practice? Well, probably not. But then it wouldn't hurt, especially as you and your friends are still superheroes in training.
For this activity you will need a large area, a couple of empty cans and something to throw, like a tennis ball.
Take the cans and place them randomly over the playing area and assign each can some points. Those that are closest will obviously be worth less points than those that are further away.
Finally, draw a line or mark a spot
from which you and your fellow superheroes may throw the ball or
object to try and hit your targets. The person with the most points
at the end of the game, wins (make sure that all points aren't
accumulated by hitting the closes one repeatedly).
Ever wondered which of the superheroes can leap the furthest? Quite hard to tell, isn't it? Well now's the time to settle it for once and for all.
Use a couple of markers and lay them parallel to each other with about a foot in between each other (they can also vary, but there must be at least enough space for a small foot between any two towels or markers).
Now, once you have your towels ready, it's time for the Superhero leap to begin! Each participant has to run over the towels or markers without touching them. In addition, there may only be one foot between any two towels at any one time. This means that between the first and the second towel or object, you may only place either your left or right foot with the other foot between the second and third towel or object, etc.
Once each participant has completed one
run, you have to take away a towel and let everyone go again,
following the same rules. If anyone touches a towel or marking object
with his or her foot, or uses both feet between any two markers, they
are out. The last person to complete the course, wins (and is the
superhero capable of the furthest leap).
After a hard day of leaping across roof tops and fighting super villains, all superheroes like to sit back and relax with some popcorn and a good movie (about themselves, perhaps?).
Before your party starts, be sure to pay a visit to your local DVD store and rent or buy a couple of Superhero films that you know your friends will enjoy. This will make for a great and inspired superheroes party.
As for Superheroes food and drink you
only need to decide which foods you deem fitting for yourself and
your fellow superheroes. Here are a couple of ideas:
Sandwiches
Popcorn
Chips & Dip
Candy
Cake
Hot dogs
Burgers
Pizza
And as for drink, well, you will have to ensure that every superhero present has something which he or she can use as super juice to keep their powers and theirs spirits up!
